Katie and Jason had a beautiful August day for their wedding. The ceremony took place at the Lee Congregational Church. Pastor Gail performed a lovely ceremony including some personal touches since she has known the bride for many years. We all got a good laugh when Katie and Jason thought it was time for the recessional, when it was really time for the blessing before they left as man and wife. Katie and Jason exited the front door of the church and were welcomed by many of the guests throwing bird seed. Note to future couples: If you want to have your guests throw bird seed, have them do that after the formal pictures so that you don't have to pick it out of every nook and cranny before more pictures. I actually found bird seed in my hair when I got home from the wedding! LOL
The reception was held at the home of a family friend. The property was the perfect location for wedding photographs. Once we were finished with the formal photos, Katie and Jason enjoyed their first dance on the deck overlooking the bay. This particular deck is special to the couple because it is the site where Jason proposed to Katie! Please take a look through the rest of the images below to see more of the wedding day and get the inside scoop on some of the key moments of the day. Don't forget to leave a comment at the end as well!
Thank you to all of the other wedding vendors who helped make Katie and Jason's wedding day one that they will never forget!
A girl has to have her comfortable shoes to change into for dancing!!!
Serving up a sea of bird seed! I bet there were some happy birds after this wedding!
Do you spot the photo bomber?
What a beautiful spot for an intimate first dance!
That is my kind of picnic basket! This was a special treat for the new Mr. & Mrs.
Didn't anyone ever tell you that it is rude for a wedding guest to stick out their tongue at the photographer???
Now THAT is what I call a hood ornament!
Oh, yes she DID!!!
He gave her a good threat, but then was a perfect gentlemen feeding his new wife.
Is it possible to have four left feet on the dance floor?
A little brotherly love?
Katie & Jason,
Congratulations and thank you again for letting us spend the day with you! We hope that the moments that we captured will be memories that will last for many, many years! May God bless your marriage Forever & Always.
