This was my first time photographing a wedding at the Atkinson Resort & Country Club. It is an amazing venue! We had perfect weather for this Friday night wedding! The grounds at the resort are a wedding photographer's dream! I greatly enjoyed working with the staff and the event coordinator, Julie, did a fantastic job at making this wedding night flow smoothly. She even saved the day when the lawn sprinklers turned on just minutes before the wedding was about to begin. I was in the grass taking photos of the guests arriving and being seated when I heard this strange noise beside me. It only took a second or two to realize that it was the sound of the sprinklers turning on. I was able to avoid getting sprayed and Julie quickly radioed to the maintenance team to turn off the water. Phew, crisis averted! Nice job Julie!
The minister who performed the wedding also played his guitar and sang as the wedding party made their way down the aisle. He performed a beautiful ceremony and included another song for the happy couple! Stacy and Roland were surrounded by family and friends as they lovingly exchanged their vows before being pronounced as husband and wife! We had a fun time taking photos of the family and wedding party before heading into the reception where DJ Ken Dionne got the party started.
Please take a look at the photographs below and leave a comment!
Roland's father and grandson enjoying a moment during the ceremony.
I love this reaction! The minister jokingly asked both Stacy and Roland if they really wanted to go through with the wedding.
Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs.!!!!!!
I caught these two goofing off while we were taking the formal family photos to the left of this large rock.
Here come the bride and groom!!!
I think someone wants more than one cupcake!
