Sarah (my Sarah, not the bride Sarah) and I have loved the Hamilton House for a very long time. Sarah's grandparents were the caretakers of the property when she was a little girl. I've loved taking photographs there for many years and weddings are perfect for this amazing property. This was our third wedding ceremony on the grounds, but only our first time having the reception there as well.
We started the day photographing the girls getting ready at the bride's family home. I've photographed wedding shoes in the window with the engagement ring before, but never Nike hightop basketball sneakers! I love that shot! It is so fun!!! Once we left the girls so that they could finish getting ready, we headed over to the Hamilton House to meet Ron and his groomsmen. We captured some great images of the guys and then moved over to the formal gardens where the ceremony was getting ready to start. It was a beautiful ceremony in a perfect setting. Ron and Sarah love to spice things up and have a lot of fun. The newlyweds and their attendants walked...I mean danced out of the ceremony to the Harlem Shake!
There really is no bad location on the Hamilton House property for formal wedding pictures. We had so much fun capturing the family formals and wedding formals and ended the cocktail hour by focusing on the new Mr. and Mrs. DJ Kelly Elliott introduced the new couple and got the party started with their first dance. The reception was fun and relaxed. People enjoyed talking, laughing, dancing, playing with bubbles in the field and making many great memories. Check out all of the photos below and be sure to leave a comment at the end!
Thank you to all of the vendors who participated in making Sarah and Ron's wedding a huge success!

Time to say "I do!"
Ecclesiastes 4:12...a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
It's all about the shoes...or sneakers in this case!
And the journey begins...
Gameo is the Greek word for "to lead in marriage" "to take wife." Agape is the Greek word for selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love.
Who doesn't love giant bubbles?
